May 19 Estero A Chuckwillswidow flew over Ibis Pond in broad daylight, 2pm!

May 24 Resaca de la Palma State Park in Brownsville TX Just two hours to spare, so I only did the Ebony Trail: Black-bellied Whistling-Duck, Plain Chachalaca, Turkey Vulture, White-winged Dove, Mourning Dove, White-tipped Dove, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Groove-billed Ani, Buff-bellied Hummingbird, Golden-fronted Woodpecker, Great Kiskadee, Couch's Kingbird, Green Jay, Black-crested Titmouse, Northern Mockingbird, Long-billed Thrasher, Common Yellowthroat, Olive Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird, Great-tailed Grackle, Bronzed Cowbird, Brown-headed Cowbird, Altamira Oriole. 3 dragonfly species:  Roseate Skimmer, Familiar Bluet, and Wandering Glider.  A Texas Spotted Whiptail was there too, but best were the butterflies!:  Giant Swallowtails, just one Checkered White, a WHITE-ANGLED SULPHUR, many Cloudless Sulphurs, an ORANGE-BARRED SULPHUR, a few Large Oranges, Lyside Sulphurs, many BOISDUVAL'S YELLOWS, a Little Yellow, a Mimosa Sulphur, and many Dainty Sulphurs, 4 Dusky-blue Groundstreaks, a Reakirt's Blue, a Red-Bordered Pixie, a Theona Checkerspot, a Bordered Patch, an Elada Checkerspot, many Phaon Crescents, many Pearl Crescents, a Common Buckeye, at least four Mexican Bluewings, many Tawny Emperors, a Hermes Satyr, one(!) Queen, Mazan's Scallopwings, Sickle-Winged Skippers, White Checkered-Skippers, and Clouded Skippers.
